Angel of Light...or Not
Satan’s sphere of activities is in the religious sphere, and not the spheres of crime or immorality… We are not to look for Satan’s activities today in the newspaper press, or the police courts; but in the pulpit, and in professors’ chairs. “Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness" (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)
It is from pulpits and seminaries that creeds, statements of faith, and church dogma flows…and that which flows from those places do not always line up with the Word of God.
We should reject them when they do not.
