What Is Required Of You?
“And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8) Humility is one of those things God likes. Most of us have a hard time being humble because the world teaches us to be proud. The world says that low self-esteem is a major problem. However, this is the person God "esteems"... “. . . this is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit…” (Isaiah 66:2) God likes simple, humble folks who trust Him….so do I. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6)
