The Sign
"As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. Tell us, they said, when will this happen, and what will be the sign of thy coming?" (Matthew 24:3) Jesus then told them what to look for... "Jesus answered: Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming I am the Messiah, and will deceive many...and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people" (Matthew 24:4, 11) In an era when many call themselves followers of Jesus, but are deceiving themselves and others, that is the sign of the era in which Jesus will return. The Apostle Paul also speaks of this era. "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
