New Years Resolution

"I will approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that I may receive mercy and find grace to help me at the proper time." (Hebrews 4:16)

And that is my New Years Resolution this year, and for each year of the remainder of my life.

Can God's Patience Run Out?

Many famous Christians seem to think so.  I heard Billy Graham's daughter, Anne Graham Lotz, say so in an interview on YouTube the other day.  That did not sound right to me so I looked into the Scriptures to see what they have to say. “God is Love...Love is patient.” (1 John 4:16; 1 Corinthians 13:4) “God is Spirit...The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience…” (John 4:24; Galatians 5:22) Since "God is love" , and "Love is patient" , His patience CANNOT run out. Moses and The Word Of God

Speaking of the Law Moses wrote... “It is not up in heaven so that you have to ask, "Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it." (Deuteronomy 30:12-14) The children of Israel were afraid of God so they asked Moses to go up into heaven on Mount Sinai and get the word of God and bring it to them, and then they would do what Moses told them. Paul said this about the above passage in Deuteronomy... "Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: “The person who does these things will live by them."
