We Should Not Bring God Down To Our Level
"For you know the GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich." (2 Corinthians 8:9)
God wants us to "know" about His Grace. Grace is what sinful people need and what God provides them as a "gift".
“For by Grace you are saved…and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8)
God loves His "enemies" and is "gracious" to those who are "ungrateful and evil".
"But love your enemies, do what is good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is gracious to the ungrateful and evil." (Luke 3:35)
God would like for us to love our enemies - but we don't...only God does! We want to argue with our enemies or worse. That is the norm in this age, for we just cannot measure up to God in character. However, we should not bring our loving, gracious and merciful God down to our level with doctrines of self righteous men. Instead, we should rejoice that He intends to raise us up to His level - not now but in those ages beyond this "present wicked age".

"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gives himself for our sins that he might extricate us out of this present wicked age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for the ages of the ages. Amen" (Galatians 1:3-4 CLNT)
