Get Mad At God Sometimes...He Loves You Anyway

Love based on "GRACE" - unmerited favor - now that is a good thing! God loves like this.  People, not ever.  There are times when we just get hacked off at the world in general - we even get mad at God sometimes.  

Fortunately God is not like us...

"God is love...Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." (1 John 4:8; 1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

"God is love", and unlike you and I, He "keeps no record of wrongs" and His love "never fails". 

I am glad - and I ignore men who think otherwise.

"For I am convinced that death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39)

Yep, I get mad at God sometimes - but He loves me anyway!

Gun to My Head Prediction

"  I am coming  again  and will take  you to Myself , so  that  where  I am , there you also  will be." (John 14:3) "This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:11) I am not a "date setter" for the return of Jesus to Earth. However, I read the Bible for clues which reveal the era in which He will return - that era seems to me to be unfolding before my watchful eyes. If someone held a gun at my head and told me I had to give an exact month, day and year for His return to Earth to set up the Millennial kingdom. I would calmly say Saturday, October 4, 2035 AD. Why? Follow this link for why I would give 2035 AD as the year. https://2035thereturn.blogspot.com/ As for the month and day - Saturday, October 4 - it is because that will be the first day of the new year (Rosh Hashanah) in the year 2035 AD. The Joy of Your Salvation

King David lamented to God… “Restore to me the joy of your salvation.” (Psalm 51:12) I think many Christians have lost the “joy” of their salvation. David lost it due to the guilt associated with his sin and I suppose that still happens. But many who have lost this joy are not sure why? They are faithful members of a local church. I sympathize with them because I lost my joy while actively involved in a local Church as a deacon, lay preacher, and bible teacher, and serving on an international mission board. But the more I served the less joy I had. After 25 years of working in the local church trying to please God, all I had was “guilt” that I just did not do enough, which guilt was regularly reinforced by well-meaning pastors and guest evangelists who would imply that most people would end up in hell because the church was not doing a good enough job to save them.
